Oak Bookcase Cabinet. A splendid Oak bookcase or cabinet with two drawers and standing on 4 dovetailed legs. The front doors of the cabinet have a carved motif which is a nice highlight. The age of this piece of furniture would date to around the 1930’s and origin English. The Oak has been stained in what appears to be a Mahogany stain which is a bit unusual but in the light works quite well. Some slight wear to one of the drawer fronts but hardly detracts from the item. The shelves are nice and deep and you could have two lines of books on one shelf if needed. The other use is as a display cabinet that can be opened and closed as necessary.
In very solid and good condition and as a bookcase offers something different with the long leggings and no need to bend to put in or take out items. No key but easy enough to take out lock and get one made.
The dimensions are 1.54m tall x 95cm wide and 45cm deep.
